![]() i really feel as though there is a higher chance of contamination with these circumstances. im doing the nipt test soon, so hopefully those results will confirm the gender. im going to be happy and love my baby either way, but i feel like the test was contaminated. First took an at home peekaboo gender test at 7 weeks 4 days & results came back boy The next day I took an at home sneak peek gender test stand it also came back boy But my husband wasn’t convinced because our house has 3 boys plus 2 boy dogs in it and could easily be contaminated. seeing the boy result felt wrong and confusing to me. im convinced the result is wrong, and im actually having a girl. im not sure how true that is, however knowing my luck i'll have incorrect results. he also mentioned that they have a perfect track record, and have had no false results. it was one light pass with an alcohol pad. i did not see him disinfect while i was in the room, and he hardly even wiped down my arm. the room had a couch, the ultrasound bed, and carpeted floors. all of the supplies were on an underpad on the ultrasound bed. he touched the sheet that had the gloves and everything else on it, then put the gloves on. he touched my arm without gloves to tie the band to make your vein pop out. ![]() i had a male draw my blood, package the test, and he was just wearing jeans and a t shirt. i went into an ultrasound studio, which one room in a building where multiple other businesses were. Once again, only looking for experience with the Sneak Peek SNAP, not the Sneak Peek lancets.Has anyone ever gotten a false result with sneak peek clinical? i got the result of boy, however i feel as though the test was contaminated. So to my fellow Sneak Peek SNAP test takers, how was your experience? Was the test accurate? We are excited regardless for our daughter to have a little sibling so we won’t be heartbroken either way. ![]() Nipt will just tell you the fetal fraction is too low for valid results but since sneak peek just looks for male chromosomes, it would just assume there are none. If you did sneak peek earlier in your pregnancy this especially could be the case (low fetal fraction). We get confirmation on the 29th so we don’t have to wait too much longer but we thought the test would be fun to try. nipt is very accurate/ sneak peak is iffy. My husband (currently only male in the house) was at work during the time I tested.ĭespite all this, results came back as a baby BOY! □ I’m excited but I realize that there’s a chance my genius self got it contaminated somehow (I’m naturally the queen of paranoia.) I did everything humanly possible to make sure there was no risk of contamination. Well, today I just got my NIPT result back and it says boy Apparently I’m. I wiped down her table 3 times and almost filled up the tube immediately on accident (didn’t realize my blood would collect in seconds.) I was a little over 16 weeks at time of testing. I took the sneak peek snap test at 13 weeks and got a girl result. I took the SNAP in my daughter’s room using her changing table (no shade to my wonderful husband but that’s not an area he frequents.) I did wash my hands/scrub my arm in the bathroom but I made sure not to touch anything and air dry. I know this just came out in June but this is the test I took. I am only looking for experiences with Sneak Peek SNAP on its accuracy. ![]() Hello! My apologies if this is the millionth post in regards to this, I’ve posted in moms groups about this but I keep getting responses in regards to the Sneak Peek lancet tests.
